Why Enterprise Floors
Naples' in-house carpet restretching workroom.
Over time, wall-to-wall carpet loosens — humidity, poor original stretching, heavy furniture, and foot traffic all cause it to ripple and buckle. Restretching pulls the carpet tight again using a power-stretcher (the CRI-recommended tool), not a knee-kicker. The result is a flat, safe, better-looking floor that eliminates trip hazards and extends the life of your carpet. Most Naples restretching jobs are done in a single day.
What's included
- Power-stretch (CRI standard)
- Tackless re-secure
- Door & threshold trim
- Same-day available
How carpet restretching works
- 1. Inspect the carpet. We identify wrinkles, ripples, buckling, and any pull-away from tackless strip.
- 2. Clear the room. Furniture is moved and the carpet edges are released from the tackless strip.
- 3. Power-stretch. CRI-standard power stretcher pulls the carpet tight — no knee-kickers.
- 4. Re-secure & trim. Re-tuck to the tackless strip, trim at thresholds, and re-secure transition metals.
- 5. Final walkthrough. Flat, tight carpet with no wrinkles or trip hazards.
